Montville police responded around 4:42 a.m. Monday to a home on Morgan Street for a report of two deceased individuals, said Connecticut State Police.
Once on the scene, officers found two people who had been stabbed to death.
A short time later, state police announced they had apprehended a suspect and that there was no threat to the public.
The intersections of Morgan Street and Woodland Drive, as well as Morgan Street and Ridge Court, are currently closed. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes, troopers said.
